I sure wish I could afford to hire someone to upkeep the garden for me. It seems that many (maybe most) of my wife's artist friends are into gardening too. I approach it as an artistic endeavor, and probably one of the most complex .. as well as impermanent. I guess pulling weeds takes the place of washing brushes.
Judging from the photos, your garden is indeed a work of art.
