My grandmother passed away about three months ago. At the funeral, there was a whole bunch of "she's in a better place, now" sayings, and I expected that. What pissed me off was the repeated assertions that the best thing she ever did in her life was accepting Jesus. They spent five or more minutes of the funeral shitting all over her memory by saying none of it really mattered, anyway.

On a semi-positive note, that part of the funeral did keep me from crying.
