Recently, actually before joining AF.org. I was debating with theist on YouTube regarding Islam. I have started a crazy debate against Saudi Muslims, a whole week, I was receiving a hate messages & comments, threats of all kinds. They wanna torture me for criticizing Islam, and by exposing the true nature of their believe.
I have performed this YouTube experiment twice, one in English and the other in Arabic languages. I have received the same results everywhere, so i figured its time to join a well civilized society at AF.
I hope you're able to leave the Middle East soon. Unfortunately it is not a safe place for atheists.
AF, a civilized society? My goodness, in all your life you must never have left the Middle East.
At a young age, i have visited USA to Orlando (Disney World) & Dallas. I have been to Australia & NZ. That's all. I haven't left the Middle East since 2001... Fuckin Hell! I haven't left ME in 14 years. I wonder why my mind was so disoriented all those years.

I am very impressed that you can take what was a totally 'real' experience
and grant that it might have an explanation other than the one obvious to
your autobiographical self. I have no doubt that this thing you describe
did happen to you. It's the interpretation that has to be brought up to date.
Congratulations, that ain't easy.
This is what "open minded" actually is, being willing to change your opinion in the face of new evidence/arguments. Some people who claim to be open minded actually just selectively believe certain things without being able to justify them, then criticise sceptics for not believing those same things.
Well, that is why my signature clearly says: "Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious..." So, i could keep on looking for new evidences/arguments.
