I wonder why noone mentioned the "war is fun" diarrhea of the 80ies and 90ies. Such as Officer and Gentleman, Top Gun and later on Spielberg's Private Ryan. Or the Pearl Harbor from the Bushy years.
These are propaganda at it's purest and rival Goebbels productions.
I agree completely. Except that Top Gun is one of my embarrassing secret pleasures, and imho simply an Air ForceNavy recruitment commercial and not as propagandistic as the others.
