Props to her for that, but I still want to stick hot knives in my ears when I hear it
Modern hip hop. I actually like and listen to 90s and 80s hip hop, but this

Is just fucking dumb
To me Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown aren't even Hip-Hop. They're commercialised pop music with an urban theme.
Some Nicki I love though, I find her very hit and miss. She'll do an amazing song (Moment 4 Life, Pound The Alarm, Your Love) and then go on to do Anaconda and Stupid Hoe. I don't understand her inconsistency.
I can't stand any kind of scream-y music - metal, screamo, death metal, whatever you wanna call it. It makes my ears bleed, it sounds horrible. My brother loves it, for reasons beyond my comprehension. Some softer rock is ok but as soon as they start screaming I'm turning it off.
