God will forgive you, so go ahead and have your fun.
Good point. I honestly wonder how you Christians can condemn certain acts when all that really matters is being forgiven by God and getting into heaven. Who's to object to a little rape and murder if the almighty will simply forgive you for it and let you in the pearly gates anyway?
If your son intentionally throws a baseball through a window, it is objectively wrong. But why should he worry when he knows you will forgive him eventually? Mom and Dad aren't going to throw him out of the house for a window.

What you describe is NOT perfect justice (and you knew that). Perfect justice was meted out at Calvary. God's forgiveness is a result of that.
Quote:The real problem, however, is that Christians are extremely vocal about condemning everyone else's sins and screaming about how God disapproves, but when they get busted themselves, suddenly it's all about "god's forgiveness" and "everybody sins." It's the hypocrisy I can't stand and the fact that many Christians are stone throwers refusing to admit they live in glass houses.
Some Christians are like that. But not all. Not even the majority. Atheists are like that, too, in the sense that they do things that they know are wrong but then they easily forgive themselves and move on.
That's part of the human condition, I guess...something that no amount of evolution seems to have corrected in us...yet.
