Nobody gives a shit about drawing Jesus. The next time someone is shot over drawing Jesus there will be a protest against it.

People will give a shit about drawings of Jesus is you do it right.

Personally, I would like to see a picture of naked Jesus on all fours with a ball-gag in his mouth being led on a leash by a male dominatrix.  That might get the Christians thinking about rounding up the torches and pitchforks.

Radicals do not define a movement, to the rationally- minded. One has to be terribly blinkered to se a sliver of a minority as representative ... that's like upholding Stalin and his Chekists as representative of leftists.

Silly, just bloody silly.

Of course the radicals don't define the movement, but what does define it is the reaction of the majority towards the radicals.  For there being over a billion Muslims, they seem awfully quiet about the problem, and when you do bring the radicals up to a moderate, most of them seem only interested in blaming the problem on the Western media and smear campaigns.  My own perceptions have lead me to think that the moderates may even be afraid of condemning the radicals.

And on top of that, even moderate Islam is plagued with oppressive sexism and honor killings.

If the radicals were the only problem with Islam, people would have more of a justified objection to "Fuck Islam."
