We filed in Dec as soon as we found out, but I told my attorney that I didn't want to go through another appeal because I have evidence that could get the guardianship revoked. Dumbass attorney filed against my wishes and now I'm stuck waiting. The superior court won't withdraw my petition because they say I am "being represented", which is bullshit because I didn't ask for the appeal in the first place. My signature is on nothing. So I'm missing out on having my daughter home where she belongs all because of a corrupt system that never should have placed her with that man to begin with.
Well, that totally sucks! That isn't any comfort, I'm sorry, But that really is a mess.
On the bright side, it sounds like after the year is up, you will get custody back since you have evidence against him. I know it's a long time to wait. Maybe someone with more legal experience will be able to shorten the wait, I have 0 legal experience or knowledge.
