They do it because they feel its the right thing to do for them. I seriously doubt they come around as early as 8am. But if someone comes to my door uninvited, I am usually very cordial. Probably because I can sympathize. But trust me, they're not going to stop coming around anytime soon.
That rule applies to the public witnessing stands, not the door to door work

I apologize if I mischaracterized the staff. The email was very kind and understanding that it was just a bad joke. I didn't have hurt feelings or feel persecuted.
