Yes, it does make Him happy to see us happy with him in Heaven because He loves us so much. So technically, it is "satisfactory" in that sense. But it's like giving someone you love a great gift and then being happy to see them happy with it. Would you call your motives "self satisfying?"Yes, Absolutely. When we do a good deed, our brain rewards us with a shot of "happy hormones", dopamine and Serotonin. Our brain craves this because it lacks this during normal daily activities.
For you magic sky god to need anything to be happy makes him not a god. An omnipotent being "needs" nothing that he couldn't already have.
He doesn't need it. But he does want us to be happy because he loves us.
And i'm just explaining my own beliefs here. i know yall believe different.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
