Actually you do know that even if you don't know the definition of lactose intolerance.
To know is to be made aware through the exchange of information I provided you. (look at defination 1 I left you) What you are describing is verification. That is why I asked you to define 'to know.' Because it is not me who is not aware of the definition.
You 'know' Because I told you. In the case of God verification comes when you show yourself faithful to the little knowledge you have been given.
