Yes, it's very convenient for you that you take the whole of the old testament as allegorical. Too much misogyny and absolutely disgusting morality for any of it to be literal. Too bad the new testament isn't really any better.
The funny thing is she changed her stance from the stories being allegorical to the stories just being fiction. She ran into the problem of having to explain what exactly the stories would be an allegory for, so she just decided to dismiss them all together. Even if you think god was using an allegory it doesn't dismiss the immoral message that the stories portray.
