Easy enough to do.  What if you went back in time to take out Hitler and then he is replaced by someone that does win the war.

Who knows, maybe Goebbels would have taken over the Reich as high priest of a Führer cult worshipping the eternal leader, and would have made strategically smarter decisions. Scary that.
