That seems to be the habit with fundies. I think when you believe in a theology of violence, it bleeds into every part of your life; unfortunately and especially how you treat people who are not part of your ingroup.

It means being an even bigger cherry picker than non-progressive Christians.
The Bible, the big book of multiple choice.
Welcome!
Multiple choice is a good descriptor. I'm not fond of cherry picking as a phrase, just because it's associated in parlance with individuals who put little effort into respecting ancient texts (of any origin). It's all about context, as with any literature.

Half christian? Half Religious? Half pregnant?
What's the go here?
I would be a total dick but I won't.
Whereas Nappa, well the girls tells me he's only got a partial dick anyway! Hehe
hmmm, no - not half Christian. I do not believe that contemporary conservative Christians have a good understanding of early Christianity. I do my best to differentiate from my opinions and what is actually in the text of the bible, instead of imposing my opinions on them. I fail a lot. But I try a lot, too.

Then I have a serious question to ask you.
Iggles or Stillers? Or are you a perfectly villainous heathen like your friend Judi and follow those foul rat-birds?
Nope - from Oklahoma, right in the bible belt buckle. I would love to answer your totally serious question, but I'm actually not sure what those fun words mean.

I can imagine. She should be happy she isn't a muslim. At least they won't be throwing rocks at her!
A few of my close friends identify as progressive muslims, actually!
