You go to the wrong bars. Not too long ago, my wife and I went to a bar and sat at a table. We had a meal and a few beers that were on tap. The waitress brought us the check, and I gave her my credit card. She ran my card through their machine and brought the credit card receipt for me to sign. It seemed much less than I expected it to be. I looked at it more closely, and noticed that we were charged for the meals, but only the first beer each for us. I pointed it out to the waitress. She said it was too much of a bother to rerun it, and so we were just charged for one beer each. I made the remark that if I had known that there were free refills, I would have had another. She told me not to expect that in the future, and not to tell anyone about it (so no, I will not tell you the name of the bar). Anyway, even being honest, I only paid for one beer each. I like that bar!
