Oh, I'm sure it's the primary answer for atheists. I do object to some things about Christianity, but if that were my problem with god, I'd find another god, there are plenty to choose from.
As to what evidence: no evidence physical evidence whatsoever; no demonstrative evidence (evidence which can be shown by one person to another) except the written word and personal stories; no real modern miracles. In short, nothing of note. And given that lack of evidence, why bother about any other objections to god, except those that cause believers to behave badly.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.
