I would say no if asked by a kid with religious parents. I think the kid doesn't need one more adult misrepresenting the truth to her. But i do understand it's hard because we usually don't meddle in how people bring up their kids, and if the parents say A, we pretend it's A around the kid. But since the child asked if you "believed", she knows it's a belief system and that some people don't believe. Right? it's not like she's asking you if she can have ice cream before dinner.
