RE: Anime anyone?

The filler is tough to deal with on Naruto. I dropped it for a long, long time and then picked it up again and skipped all of the eye-burning filler. I'm caught up now but it's reached yet another filler arc. 
I was watching Hellsing, but I kind of lost interest and dropped it. I need to try and finish it. Oh, I forgot to mention some of my favorites:
- The Vision of Escaflowne - I really can't recommend this highly enough. It's like a mix of mecha and fantasy. It is fantastic in every way.
- Samurai Champloo - Cool show, funky beats in Edo-period Japan. What's not to like?
- Sword of the Stranger - It's a movie, not a series, but it's an awesome ride.
- FullMetal Alchemist (original) - I was debating on whether to include this as a favorite. There are a few things I wish were different, but overall it is well worth watching.
- Gurren Lagann - Pure insanity. Watch it, love it.
- Kill la Kill - From the same folks behind Gurren Lagann, this show is balls-to-the-walls action and fan service from start to finish.
