You probably feel imperfect when you are alone.
That is your problem.
Why everybody would have to feel the same?
We are all different and God is even more different.
You pretend to read God mind.

When I had my two kids it never came in my mind that by having them they would fill any void.
I didn't have a void in the first place so the void was not the motivation.  

Being alone and being lonely are two entirely different things. God's  narcissistic  preoccupation with being worshipped is the mark of lonely insecurity.

So you have solid evidence that God said that he require to be worshipped?

Religions talk about evil so what?
Religions themselves are mainly evil.
They invented the hell for those who do not listen to them.
What God has to do with that?
Have you ever heard God talk about evil and hell?
So why don't you let religions float in their own invented evil and hell and leave God alone?

You're not really making sense to me anymore.

Don't you worry too much Chad.
With the due time you will learn that what is good to you may not be good to other people and what make sense to you may not make sense to other.
Once you get rid of your dogmas then you will be able to understand how the whole system works.
