Trying to explain things in the physical world through religion is barking up the wrong tree. Just as trying to explain something that deals with spirituality or the supernatural by using the scientific method. I don't expect the existence of God or angels, etc, to be proven through science because those things are not of the physical world and can't be tested.
Except where those things are supposed to affect reality. Then those effects should be at least detectable. Tell me there's an undetectable angel sitting on my shoulder and I don't care. Say that it controls the weather or something and I'm going to ask you how you can know that.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
