This isn't a thread designed to start a war, just a casual question.
I think the best way I could word it is, what style of presentation do you like in relation to sports?
From what I've noticed is that there's an American style, which is to have the loud music, entrance themes, light shows, fireworks, gimmicks, mascots, teams named after animals or other things.
Or there's a much more understated style which the UK has. The teams are mostly just called Manchester United, Manchester City and so on. There seems to be less of a pre game show. Not to shit on the UK style too much but everything just seems more dull. Gimmicks and having a flashy style is actually shunned pretty heavily at least in British football, especially by a lot of the more old school people involved in the game.
I'm actually undecided, I really love the American way of doing it, I imagine the atmosphere is fired up in these American sports venues. On the other hand I can see why that style is shunned a lot in Britain.
Or maybe you think I'm wrong and there is no difference between how the countries sports are presented.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
