I wanna hide in a hole now to be fair, i can't debate worth the life of me yet iv'e watched millions of videos. Damn, now i'm worried there gonna come back because i opened the door for them the first time and they where gone for so long too! is it odd to say i feel like my personal space was sorta invaded? A question, doesn't always mean debate, or the bible and i wish they would have just said a question about god cause then i'd have had more room to say sorry i didn't realize that's not a conversation i'd like to have. I also am nervous about them showing back up or starting something with folks below me now, is there anyway i can make it so they can't knock on my door? but i also don't want to make it so i can't help other people who actually need something like bottle collecting or more important things.
I know i'm sorta hard on myself for mistakes, but i really do feel dumb.
but religious people have always made me feel dumb? i also tend to freeze up and slur my words and my thinking gets all fuzzy cause social anxiety.

You aren't under any obligation to debate, so don't feel bad, debating is not for everyone. No, it's not odd to feel that your personal space has been intruded upon, they are intruding upon it. Don't you just love how they come to you out of the blue and suddenly you're the one who has to justify your lack of belief to them, the inquisitors. I actually look forward to their visits. Yes, you read that right. They never last very long in a debate with me, mostly because they aren't very educated or informed, and once they have engaged me they never come back. Sorry but I'm far past the "look at the trees, look at the squirrels" stage now. From time to time a new batch comes round and I get to have a little fun. I love the deer in the headlights look they take on. The last time the JW's came round I told them to go back and send their very best debater because frankly, they weren't ready for a debate with me. Sadly, that was over a year ago and no one has come again. Next time, if there is one, I'm going to put on the biggest smile and say that they are so very fortunate to have stumbled upon the home of an Objectivist and offer to help them to untangle the mess they've made of their minds. That should be fun. But in all seriousness, if one of them was able to refute me, then I would also be happy because I don't want to believe things that aren't true, and I'm not infallible.
