Your assumptions:

*It was a monster running from something.
*It was Jesus running from the Romans
*It was a giant butterly.
Now for the two simplest explanations:
*It was a dark/shady object. You have no evidence to assume it was anything other than a dark/shady object.
*You were hallucinating.
Hm..makes me think of the so called prophets and how they supposedly came with their "revelations." I'm sure they were either "fucking nuts" as minimalist put it, or they had a hidden agenda. Religion to me is the biggest conspiracy in the world. hock:
