Can I just say that depite all the flak that the April Fool stunt(s) generated, I actually appreciated the humour of the day? I had been going through a particularly depressive period towards the end of last week into the weekend. I logged in, I think late Thursday/early Friday my time, just to catch up and to distract my mind, after which I took to my bed. I only emerged and felt somewhat able, albeit rather shaky, to face the world sometime Sunday evening and ran head first into the full prank explosion. I was so taken with the absurdity of it all that, even though I never twigged the connection with the date, I was kept busily and eagerly online for hours just to see how this bizarre drama played out. The whole thing jolted me out of my black mood in spite of myself. Not an objection, I realise; still, mucho appreciado from this quiet little corner. Thanks.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
