What?

Again, what am I dodging? The only thing I pointed out was that the earlier Polish guy said he wasn't an atheist so its hard to say if he fits in the sentence of "atheist who was killed for being atheist". He's probably the closest thing we have though, which is why I freely admitted that we have "maybe one".

I'm not avoiding "looking at the bad". Catholics persecuted Protestants in some places and some times, and Pagans, and Jewish folk, all of which were very terrible things. When I say there have been no real mass persecutions of atheists it isn't about not wanting to see the bad: its just that within the bad there are no mass persecutions of atheists. At most you have 1 known person in the whole 2000 year history of the Church, some 300+ years ago. Calling that evidence of some mass persecution seems a bit offensive to those groups who really have gone through mass persecution, both at the hands of atheists as well as theists (in living memory even! Wink).
Mary Immaculate, star of the morning
Chosen before the creation began
Chosen to bring for your bridal adorning
Woe to the serpent and rescue to man.

Sinners, we honor your sinless perfection;
Fallen and weak, for your pity we plead;
Grand us the shield of your sovereign protection,
Measure your aid by the depth of our need.

Bend from your throne at the voice of our crying,
Bend to this earth which your footsteps have trod;
Stretch out your arms to us, living and dying,
Mary Immaculate, Mother of God.
