Australian men do not boast about penis size,that's considered gay.---and Australia is one of the more homophobic countries in the world.
Instead we have a bunch of activities used to prove a guy is NOT gay,such as poofter (gay) bashing, and Australian Rules football. The only ball game where you kick the ball if you can't kick the man. Gridiron is seen to be a bit wimpy. ( all that padding). In Aussie rules, concussions, corked thighs, spinal injuries and the occasional fatality are all part of the charm.
Aussie rules players are much admired for their virile behaviour off the field; getting drunk and urinating in public,glassing their girlfriend,that kind of thing. Of course the use of steroids is strictly forbidden and unknown.
If not a thug or athletic, a young Aussie bloke buys a car,pimps it and behaves stupidly in it until he is killed, kills some one else, or grows out of the stupidity (usually around age 40)
