If an insecure iframe is embedded in the secure version of the site then it is automatically blocked by FF, Chrome, and IE. Only IE pops up a box offering to unblock it. Changing the url of the iframe by editing the html in realtime from http:// to https:// causes the video to show.
So let's take a youtube video http://youtu.be/_FlV6pgwlrk:
There must be something weird with my copy of Firefox then, because it works fine for me, and I always use the HTTPS site to browse.
Also, I just checked it in Chrome and it renders fine.
I can't check I.E. because I don't have it.
It's hard to debug something when I can't duplicate the issues people are having.
