There is a lot there but it doesn't really address the historical reasons for the Islamic violence.
There are many passages in the Bible that are abhorently violent and many passages in the Quaran that call for peace.

It appears to me that at one time Christianity acted, in the past, the way Islam is acting now.
It seems more that those who want to exact revenge or gain power simple do what has always been done with religion. They use it to their advantage.
If all religion could be laid to rest then maybe all would be better. As for now, however, we have what we have.
