This is the problem with your thinking. You're equating men to dogs. Unlike dogs, civilized human beings have the ability to think and make decisions and resist temptation for the sake of doing the right, respectful thing.
I agree with your post. Surely, one day, all will do what is right for the sake of prosperous existence of all, but for now most are blinded by greed.
