That's why I was against the joining of all the Eeastern European countries in 2004. Not because I hate them but because I always thought they're simply not ready for the experiment. No offense, but by then it was obvious they rather licked American boot and only joined to pick some cherries, since we are all paying for their wellbeing. That's why I always said, set up the political parameters and ask again if they feel like joining. The EU seems like a business expanding too fast too soon without any means to control their different affiliates. So now we pay and get nothing in return. Most glaringly with Hungary and Poland, which really weren't ready to join, since they were busy kissing Bush ass in 2004 and are now rules by nationalists only busy holding out their hands for some more subsidies.
That's fine by the way, but if they don't want to shoulder some of the load, let us decide if we want our tax money to go there. They're obviously very well off on their own.
