Also his music is just awful.

Never greatly impressed with his voice but his dance is pretty impressive.  I've never down loaded or played much of his music but I've enjoyed watching his performances.

As to: Why was Michael Jackson stigmatised so harshly?  I'm surprised his having been born african american isn't more widely known.  That explains why we whities would be harsh on him and his having worked so hard to erase his african american features accounts for some criticism among non-whities.

The claim is that whiteys hate black people, just for being African American.

Whiteys didn't seem to hate the Jackson 5, who were blatantly African American.  They got rich from whiteys buying all their music and loving them.  Most of Michael's screaming crying psychotic fans were whiteys.

4 Number 1 singles in the US and a number 1 single in the UK.  Two countries largely populated by whiteys.

Plus I don't get what you mean by his not being African American isn't more widely known.  Who doesn't know Micheal Jackson was African American?  I've never met a person in my life who didn't know he was African American.

I've known some amateur psychology theories on why Micheal looked the way he did but I haven't heard the blame whitey one yet, but this is the blame whitey forum.
The more popular theory is that he didn't want to have his dad's nose or look like his dad on account of being beaten by him so much, or that his dad used to call him big nose.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
