GMOs in Germany
#15
RE: GMOs in Germany
But based on what? What makes you think that it is reasonable to suspect that GMOs are more dangerous? I am not disagreeing with you, I am just trying to understand your reasoning for thinking so.

All of the 'ingredients' that are in these 'man made' products are enhancements of genes that are already there, or splicing genes from other natural substances or plants/animals. It is a more precise version of what man has been doing for centuries, which is hybridizing and selecting the best or most desirable traits.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
