Because of the blue skin, elephant headed and turtles all the way down?  At least they play well with others and don't blow people up, assuming my sources are good.

I was thinking more of the caste system and dharmic fate.

As for the 'playing well with others bit', they're really no different than another religions.  Run-of-the-mill Hindus tend to stay home and mind their own business.  Hindu extremists have a proud and time-honoured tradition of killing people who have the gall to disagree with them.
