I imagine you could overcome the CO2 issue with some sort of a soda lime canister.

Quite frankly, though, the whole thing doesn't really fill a need that’s not already answered by existing respirators.

Any CO2 absorbtion system would add bulk and cost.

Can you currently buy a respirator that fully covers your face - even with glasses - that does not fog up in use - for under $100?

This is a go-between between a costly full face respirator and a bandanna...
