The difference between you OLB and Gowdzilla, considering you both own guns, is that he doesn't live his life in a paranoid state.

You however, the way you respond, if you were to truly live by your own arguments, would have to be awake 27/7 365 days a year. with a firearm in your hands at all times.

I am surprised OLB, that you haven't joined a looney filled right wing Militia yet. Or maybe you have and haven't told anyone yet.

Because I legally own and carry a gun?

I don't think anyone is "out to get me" - but I'm pretty well prepared if some whacko tries anything.

More because any time the subject of gun control comes up, you take it personally, and you go from your typical Devil's Advocate rhetoric to a kid throwing a tantrum, even when they're talking about restrictions that shouldn't even effect you [unless, of course, you are A) a crazy racist, or B) the sort of person who pulls a gun on someone who tells you "good morning." And I'm going to give you benefit of the doubt and assume you're neither of these things.]

When the subject comes up, at best, you're like a more articulate version of the "30-to-50 feral hogs" guy who went viral last year responding to Jason Isbell tweeting about assault weapons, and being so caught up in his outrage that it seems he temporarily forgot that the .270 Remington he uses for that purpose (a bolt action shotgun with a magazine capacity of 3 shells plus one in the chamber) does not legally qualify as one, and is therefore irrelevant to the discussion.
