And you don' t find it ironic that Boxer helped write the policies that shaped their society and raised her muggers?

Whether it's true or ironic, how is it an odd ommission from a news story about her getting mugged? If it's an omission at all, it's a very usual one since I've never seen a news story that tried to trace a causal link between the victim of a mugging and the victim's politics.

Crime rates have continued to fall steadily over the past decade amid major criminal justice reforms, including some that reduced prison and jail populations and lessened penalties for low-level offenses.

As California and the nation reckon with ongoing and historic harms caused by the justice system, declining crime trends offer an opportunity to consider steps toward inclusive community safety. These data offer an important reminder that crime is falling, not rising, which has persisted through an era of progressive policies and substantial reinvestment in communities.

So, to be fair, she did help contribute to the culture that changed the crime rate: because she ended up supporting policies that made it lower.

Frankly, I was relieved that it wasn’t worse. You seem to think that the term “right leaning” means something like raving idiot. The kind of person who might agree with you. The kind of person who sees rampant leftism in California or considers anyone to the left of uday and qusay rinos.

You’re unserious people with nothing of value to add to the national discussion.

Frankly, I really want to know how Biker understands the political left and right in America. Specifically the underlying ideologies. Or how he can fundamentally ignore the fact that his views tend to have far more in common with the right than the left (and, no, being okay with drugs, feminism, abortion, and contraception does not change that if the rest of your underlying views seem to fit the ideology to a tee.) Because, frankly, what I'm getting is a cross between the paranoia and gun obsession of Timothy McVeigh and all the intellectual rigor of Sargon of Akkad.
