Apparently, there’s good-sized number of DVDs printed by Warner Bros. Between 2006 and 2009 that were pressed poorly. As a result, they suffer from disc rot and are apparently unplayable.

So far, I’ve only checked a handful of the discs in question, but two (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and East of Eden) seem to completely freeze up at about halfway through.
