"Our personal mortality is a subject that often causes a great deal of fear"
Not for me. I don't give a fuck how I die.
I'd like it to be sticking two fingers up, but hey, I'm realistic.

I wanna be 100% certain that I am dead.
One of the few good things about that concept. The next thing closest to unity is me and my Gwynnies, but that girl'll kill me. Closed timelike loop.

I think I actually had more fear of death as a theist. All that confusion about what I'd be punished for and what I wouldn't.......
Now I just look forward to the peace and quiet.

The thought of not living, of not being aware of my existence (or rather, non-existence)... it's plain terrifying! Obviously it won't matter once I die because I won't be able to think, feel or basically do anything, but just because death is the inevitable end for me doesn't mean I have to like it.
Of course, I don't spend my days worrying about death. I have other things to think about, things that matter in the present, not the distant future when I'm old.

I only fear death, if I know that it will bring me nothing.
If I die, and people still utter my name, even though my body becomes dust, I become immortal as long as my name lives.
Yes, the spirit...I do not know what happens with my soul or spirit, but I think there just might be one.

When you're old, how do you know that you're going to get old, how do you know you will be alive a year from now? Death is waiting silently around the corner and no one knows when they will turn that corner and walk straight into deaths grip.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

That's what makes living fun G-C... bit like riding a motorcycle

I'm getting older and do not feel like that kind of excitement anymore, if I were to ride a bike now I probably would drive right into death's door.
