UFO: Unidentified Flying Object

'nuff said. We see them all the time, people report them all the time. It proves nothing about any position, and people always assume they are aliens and the government are covering something up.

RE: Disclosure:
Actually, I didn't expect that. Interesting.

Is it not small to assume there is no other life in the Universe.

RE: Disclosure:
No, and I never said I don't believe there are other beings in the universe. One of my housemates is a UFO fanatic so I know all the arguments.

What it is small to assume is that life out there in the universe has got to such a high level of technology that they have developed ways of interstellar travel, which they then use to travel to us, but instead of contacting officials they fly around remote and secluded areas where the occasional person is and reveal themselves to that individual.

The declassifying of UFO material from the British government showed nothing anomalous, only lights around air facilities.

When a flying saucer lands next to the UN building, or at the White House, I'll reconsider my position.

RE: Disclosure:
Why would they? I am a sceptic also, but these particular documentaries are different.

Why wouldn't they?

Again, like Adrian, I believe there has to be life out there but there's this thing called physics, specifically limitations on the speed things can go, which kind makes it very difficult to envisage another race coming here except by generation vessel which would be really unlikely to be a threat of any kind. To allow for alien races travelling to Earth in a reasonable time-frame they'd have to have FTL (faster than light travel) something currently not accepted as possible ... IOW in order to believe in UFO's you have to make an initial step into fantasy gah gah land before you even accept the basic premise that there is life out there and it's visiting Earth.

UFOlogy is just another religion as far as I'm, concerned.

RE: Disclosure:
I also belive taht somewhere that are intellegent life and there certanlity is some sort of life in unvierse and probably lots of it.

However I don't believe in these far fetched conspiracies. But acctually I think som scientists have calcultated that it is possible to travel faster then the speed of light. However it would be very hard to accomplish, but it is plausible. But as we all now those things who a theoretical possible not always works practically.

Anyway as we said before. If NASA would have detected intellegent life then they would probably shout that out. Just like they did when they discovered the possibilty of life on one of Venus moon, Mars and the possibilty of earth like planets in other solarsystem that thye've detected.

Because we are war like, dangerous, and think we are better.

American government would probably hook them up with free healthcare, foodstamps and housing all the while complaining we have an immigration problem.
