Greetings and Salutations, I'm Sarah and I'm an atheist. Why the title???
When I was a kid and sitting in church (what little I did go) I always felt extremely uncomfortable. Especially praying I always felt this heaviness on me. I just couldn't stand the feeling. Luckily I wasn't forced to go. My mom a very liberal feminist hippy and my dad a farm boy during the 1940s are polar opposites but when it came to religion and politics it's best to let people decide for themselves.
As I grew up I started to have my own thoughts i couldnt follow something that felt wrong then I realized a lot of the ideology just made no sense. Which drew me to logic and science and then atheism. And I enjoy it.
