I cannot say if she is a poe or not.

However according to the bible all natural disasters are a result of two main things;

1. The curse on the whole of creation which was put on the earth by Adam and Eve's disobedience in the garden of Eden.

For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.

2. God in the bible uses natural disasters (earthquakes, famines, plagues) to punish a single person or a whole group of people for some infraction of his law.

So her line of reasoning is quite biblically based. Although I do not know if the bible approves of gloating over god's various exercises of his judgement.

Anyway sometime soon I want to post a short essay sometime arguing that Creationists who assert all animals were vegetarian before the fall, are basing their reasoning on interpreting certain bible verses.
