nice fractal

nice fractal
so i saw this spiral fractal in the book the adromada strain, and i'd thought i'd post it here as it's kinda cool.
the idea is this. you start with a line, copy and rotate. then copy the struture, and rotate. etc.

this has some wierd properties, most notably the rate at which it turns, which seems to be roughly sqrt(2).

I love fractals, Mandelbrot's "The Fractal Geometry of Nature" was fascinating! Particularly for someone who was wholly ignorant of it till hearing he'd died.
