I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

mysterious reward. ( mod - I hope this does not sound like preaching )
[/quote]
Yes it does! My litmus test for preaching is, if it would sound equally as valid if you were standing on a pulpit talking to a crowd in the hope of getting your message across then it is probably preaching.
.......
Sorry then, I am clueless how else to explain it to you. i can just reword it this way..... doing good deeds will make you happy. That happiness appears out of nowhere mysteriously once you dot it. It does not come from other planet or any atom decay and what not

Of course it doesn't come from some mysterious place. The happiness I feel when I do something nice comes from me. It makes me feel good to do good things. Your god isn't even speaking to me, much less pressing my happy buttons.....

Correct. Happiness comes from chemical reactions in your brain. For example, Phenylethylamine is in chocolate and that is a good reason guys give it to women on Valentines day.

Prove it.

Prove it.
You are making absolute positive statements that require evidence. Or did you mean to say that you believe these things to be so?
And, for the last time of me asking and pending another warning, will you PLEASE make sure your quotes are correct and unbroken before you commit to actually posting.

Quote:Well, I've been doing good deeds for a long time and haven't heard from allah, so your god must have me penciled in for "later", rather than "sooner". Again, it sounds like I don't need to worry about your god at all. I'm going to do good things regardless. So, I'll see you in paradise brother.
.......
Paradise falls under reward's category, Hell falls under punishment. I am suprised someone like you believes in paradise as well. I thought athiests think nothing happens after death, even if they did a lot of good deeds during their lifetime. If nothing happens the might as well dont do good deeds because no Supreme being will take note.

I don't believe in paradise Kok, that doesn't mean we won't meet there. I won't explain why I do good things to you another time.

Do you have children? If not, make believe you do for a minute. You love them and do good because you claim Allah tells you to. Say someone proves to your satisfaction that Allah doesn't exist. Do you know stop loving your child and do nothing good for them? If you stop loving them, you are an amoral animal.
