Liberal Myths - Conservapedia

RE: Liberal Myths - Conservapedia
Quote:The claim that Early American Pilgrims were illegal immigrants.[4] No government or immigration laws were in existence at the time.

I'll take "Missing the fucking point" for 500, Alex.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

..and of course the local "savages" tribal view of the land did not count because they had no concept of Jesus.

That these myths even NEED to be debunked, as opposed to being laughed at from the get-go as tin-foil hat wearing lunacy, is an indictment of our discourse in America today.

It's the same thing I think of when I see formal, scholarly debates on subjects like "the historicity of the Resurrection". Someday, we'll live in a rational society where Habermas and McDowell publish their opinions not through respectable publishing houses but rather in supermarket tabloids along side reports of Batboy sightings and the Bible will earn its place along side the Iliad as silly myths people once believed. In such a world, athiestforums will be as quaint at alchemydebunkedforums (I just made that last one up). We'll have to spend our time posting on some other subject.
Atheist Forums Hall of Shame:
"The trinity can be equated to having your cake and eating it too."
...      -Lucent, trying to defend the Trinity concept
"(Yahweh's) actions are good because (Yahweh) is the ultimate standard of goodness. That’s not begging the question"
...       -Statler Waldorf, Christian apologist

Until then lets all have a good old belly laugh together.

...oh, and in my more rational world I hope humanity one day constructs, Kirk Cameroon will not be interviewed on CNN as if his opinion on any subject mattered.
