Min. please, stop reminding us. Although I guess those that ignore history are doomed to repeat it. It is thanks to the two elections involving Dubya that I finally realized the breadth of the stupidity of the American people. As batshit as Santorum is, he cannot be counted out, because Americans love stupid, crazy, Christian politicians.

I still don't accept that Bush won 2000 and have my doubts about 2004 but Min is right, those two elections shouldn't have even been close enough to steal. In a more rational country, they wouldn't have. In Europe, Republican candidates would be selling pencils on street corners, not running the country.
We shouldn't underestimate just how stupid a segment of the American voters can be when the phrase "President Palin" apparently didn't phase 46% of them in 2008.
