This. You come here, Hunter, exchange a few posts with people and then presume to know what they are thinking and feeling - my own husband doesn't even try to tell me what I'm thinking and feeling. I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to some stranger tell me. You know nothing of substance about me or anyone else here. Only first-year psychology students or christians would think that by reading a few posts here, they could know someone well enough to tell them the secrets of their hearts.
I don't hate your god. What I do hate is the presumptive, arrogant, preachy, condescending attitude of his minions who think they can tell me what to think, what to say, and how to live my life just because they have replaced their higher brain functions with pages from a musty holy book.

You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Oh, great. Another preaching fundy. It's as if they think we haven't been condescended to a million times already.
I harbor no inherant anger towards theists. My family is religious, and I get along with them just fine. What I hate is when people presume to somehow be better than me because their magical imaginary friend said so. Then, they expect the entire world to live by their twisted, dogmatic version of morality.
The OP, like all other fundies I've met, has not provided proof for their god, and so their arrogant preaching is just that, and nothing more.
What falls away is always, and is near.
Also, I am not pretending to be female, this profile picture is my wonderful girlfriend. XD

Can you please explain WHY it MUST be "I'm better than you" with theists?? Like you have some obligation to be "superior" to all who don't share your particular brand of insanity?? We don't feel you're better, it would require a definition of better.
The problem is that you are not open to a rational discussion. You simply have an illusion of your truth which is equivalent to the illusion shared by Muslims, Hindus, Taoists and every other religion.
If you want to seriously discuss the truth, you must show what sets your version of an unfalsifiable truth apart from any other.
Why are you christian for instance? Were you brought up in a christian culture? Is that the natural faith to jump to?
