When she was younger she used pot for anxiety like I do now. It helped her so much, but she went off of it because her doctor had her on antidepressants and it conflicted with the medication. She's been off those meds for a couple months now, and I suspect that's part of the problem. Her doctor has been prescribing her propanolol. Boo. It sucks. All it really does is slow one's heart rate. She texted me 20 times at work today begging me to let her try weed. We're going to try it. She's actually in there right now making them, which is good. It's keeping her mind off shit.
Yeah, she isn't a nut case. A little stranger than the average person, I suppose, but totally harmless. Her family amplified everything with their talk of ghosts. She's been doing slightly better since I got her away from all of them. Hoping I can get her to a state of calm so that I can explain to her logically why none of the strange occurrences around her house were the work of spirits, and that she'll get it. I think part of her problem right now is that she's too hyped up to properly absorb information.

Well, I think you're doing her evil by giving her marijuana. These only will help accelarate her condition.

Well, just beware that tolerance to marijuana does change. A person can start having bad reactions, like any other medication. There is no question that it has several chemicals and should be treated like any other medication. She could be fine and it could help her, but just be prepared in case it doesn't. It could make her freak the fuck out. Good luck.

Hopefully she wises up and overcomes her superstitions, but if she won't see a doctor, that seems unlikely.

I agree. It can especially aggravate symptoms of paranoia. She would probably do better with a low dose of valium or something similar. Her PCP could prescribe it to her for anxiety.

By drugs, I did not mean prescription drugs.
I changed that later on. I meant marijuana.
I've seen people with paranoia. Most were also marijuana smokers.
It only made their condition worse, I tell you.

I don't disagree that it can hurt. However, I know that it can also help. There are some preliminary studies that support this. There are even more studies that support the former. It is a case-by-case thing. It is not like tylenol, which is always a pain reliever. It is more like an anti-depressant, in that it only works for some.
Now, I was only commenting on your choice of the word evil.
