Psychology of Religion

I'm taking this course next semester, but there are some things I've learned in the past that seem to be at play. Mainly, I'd think the schemas are to blame. The religious get so caught up in their own schemas about God, Jesus, Allah, ect that they won't challenge them. Thoughts?
