I believe you are spelling this out for me because I asked you, secindly it is the only way to communicate on an online fourm.

Any way you can interpret the Bible in your own way, and I can interpret it another. At the end of the day it is down to whether you believe in the Bible or not. My interpretation is from a believers point of view

Is it? I'm sure, given enough time, we could probably find some believers on here that disagree with your interpretation on any given subjects in the bible. I mean, when was the last time Christianity experiencing a good old fashioned schism?

When confronted with a contradiction from the bible, then, do you just dismiss it out of hand as not a contradiction?

When I come across a contradiction I don't ignore it, I would look it up and find an answer to its reasoning, whether its a question and answer book or the internet.

I have read your post(I am not really sure what one you are talking about) and thought about them. Yes you have pointed out certain contradictions, i accept that, but ultimately the Bible is God's word, put on paper by men. So yes there will be mastakes at points. But I believe in it. I believe God created the earth, how he did it I don't really need to know. What I do need to know is that I have sinned and God sent his son to die for my sins and others. This has made me a changed person. He has done this for many more than just my self.

Also when I said I have not come across contradictions bedore I meant all contradictions I found have been answered, so there was no reason for doubt.

Aka "ignorance is bliss". If you want to believe in all this it's cool. I'm glad you've found something that resonates with you. But when called out on something you can't honestly think we'd accept 'god did it so it must be right because god did it'. Hence, again, Esquilax's question to you.

I have heard it put this way before. You cannot expect your dog to understand how a computer works, it is far to complexed. This is the same for humans and God, we cannot comprehend who God is or how he works.

I have no concept of a god. But that wasn't the point of my question.

I am asking you how you can say that it's impossible to know anything about god? That's a contradiction because you've presumed a facet that is known by default. I also want to know, as an aside, how you can worship a being that you have absolutely no knowledge of, by your own admission.
