A rational god would give rational people evidence. So either the god you believe in doesn't exist, or you believe in an irrational god. (Or you believe that human beings, though "made in his image", are irrational - which is, in itself, an irrational, and unsupportable, belief.)

Belief isn't supposed to make sense, it's supposed to exist. If you try to make sense of a belief you lose the belief. (If the belief was correct it becomes knowledge. If it wasn't a rational person feels foolish holding it.)
